because everything is gonna suck for the rest of the time we're stuck here and that was the best way to say that, at least when it comes to the way we name albums around here.
Cory and Schmoe spent the better part (and the worst part) of 2023 writing this record, continuing the natural progression toward darker more dissonant grindcore/deathgrind they began travelling on the the last couple releases.
Introspective themes from the last couple releases linger, but are interspersed with good 'ol vitriol. "that inward focus was good for me, but it's long since time to get back to slag mode" Cory said.
2023 was very quiet for -txs-, but this is just the start of them being obnoxiously loud again.
