Letter

Would you like to write a letter and put it in the mail? Have it come back to you cos there's nobody there? Write a little note in a bottle set afloat pour your sad old heart out and throw it in the air I wrote a fuckin' letter / I hope it fuckin' finds you Dropped it in the gutter, I dropped it in a beer Do you think you'll get it? Do you think you'll read it? Hope this letter finds you cos nobody's here I scribbled down a letter / I never knew your address Dropped it in a mailbox / I put it in a hole I got a message for ya / It's right here in my pocket Left it on my nightstand / I dropped it in the road I wrote a fuckin' letter / I hope it fuckin' finds you In a hollow tree / It's hidden in a wall It's folded in a paperback / It's hanging by a thumbtack I hope this letter finds you or anyone at all Would you like to write a letter? Do you got something to say? Will you feel a little better? No one reads 'em anyway
