Oh I walked to the record shop one sunny afternoon To look at Rock ‘n’ Roll records But there were none to see The manager just laughed and said, “Oh boy you must be crazy, vinyl is dead and that's the way it should be” But surely that isn’t true What would I do Seems my girlfriend Loves my LPs More than she loves me So with the speed of thirty-three and one third I will be With the speed of thirty-three and one third I will be The happiest person The happiest person The happiest person The happiest person that I know That I know Oh, Say what you wanna say Nothing in this world can stop my girl When she starts to dance And you can do what you wanna do Just turn the record when side one is through So we can hear side two Cause when the music begins It never ends Seems my girlfriend loves my LPs More than she loves me So with the speed of thirty-three and one third I will be With the speed of thirty-three and one third I will be The happiest person The happiest person The happiest person The happiest person that I know With the speed of thirty-three and one third I will be With the speed of thirty-three and one third I will be The happiest person The happiest person The happiest person The happiest person that I know Say what you wanna say Nothing in this world can stop my girl When she starts to dance And you can do what you wanna do Just turn the record when side one is through So we can hear side two

In 1999, The Features recorded an album with producer Matt Mahaffey (Self) but the album never saw the light of day. The band regrouped and eventually signed to Universal Records, toured with Kings of Leon and found a healthy career of independent success but this album was never heard... until now!

The Mahaffey Sessions 1999 were sourced from the original ADAT tapes at Matt Mahaffey's studio and remastered for digital and vinyl by John Baldwin. Artwork was created by renowned artist Sam Smith based on the band's real equipment and the record was pressed in Smyrna, TN... as close to the bands hometown of Murfreesboro as you can get.
