On Wanderings, Tim Knol invites listeners into eight brand new songs, written especially for his theatre show of the same name. “I wanted this performance to have a real soundtrack, like in film: richly arranged and full of atmosphere,” says Tim. The result is a collection full of contrasts: dreamy and intimate, yet expansive. Working with producer Jeroen Tenty, Tim explores new musical directions. The strings and cinematic scope of the title track carry echoes of Lee Hazlewood’s spirit.
