The sky is turning dark, the world is turning grey As bombs fall in places that seem so far away And I say “the world needs a change” Not for worse, from here there’s but one way Places that are burned aren’t so far away Faces that are hurt- they all have a name Just like you and all those that you know Not just numbers on some desert road And I don’t get the chaos And I don’t get the hate And I don’t get the criminal ways that we think But I do get that we are wrong To be where we do not belong What is it all for? This god-forsaken war All the men and women that had to leave their shore And all for what? Because some man in charge said to them “You must take up arms” The devil has come to take our hands and play

This song was originally recorded in 2008, but the mix was never fully completed. I was digging through some older material and it seemed suddenly relevant again, so I embarked on finally finishing the mix. Happy to finally publish this song. What you hear are the original 2008 recordings, but with a 2026 mix and polish.
