An Israeli death/grind powerhouse, Vermintide was originally created by Andrey in early 2021 as a one-man studio project, and the debut EP Meaningless Convulsions was released shortly thereafter. By the end of 2021 Vermintide became a full-fledged band when Andrey was joined by Yaniv (guitar), Ido (bass) and Idan (drums). After a few rehearsals the band embarked on the local live metal/punk scene and did a bunch of shows across Israel. During the same time the second album, Ashamed of My Species, has been recorded with the guidance of David Amiramov from Alien Fucker, and was eventually released in the spring of 2023.

In 2024, Vermintide released its third album, Virus Pedigree, marking a new chapter with the return of original drummer Idan Lupo. Now re-energized, the band is active once more, performing local shows and channeling their brutal energy into the next release.
