That quote pretty much sums up the essence of Galaxxu. Their shows can quickly go from high energy chaos to beautiful soundscapes that lull you into a meditative state.

The band started in 2015 as a guitar and drums free jazz duo with Alexander Adams and Corey Lyons. It quickly morphed into an ever evolving collective of noise heads, including Zachary Mark, Marc Williams, Janna Lee, Ishmael Ali, Labratio, Nick Y-S, and many more. Galaxxu has toured frequently, including a number of sets at Voice of the Valley and Big Noise Candy Mountain over the years.
