Written over several years, The One with the Eyeliner gathers together the songs that felt the most like IMMI MIDI. Inspired by the gothic romance of The Cure and the bittersweet synth-pop of Pet Shop Boys, the album swings wildly between crushing vulnerability and complete nonsense, because that's what life does too. These are songs about wanting to be loved, learning to love yourself, not sleeping, blocking weird men online, and occasionally pretending you're a cowboy. Goth, heartfelt tunes.
