There is a place where they won’t see you They’ll see just what they want They’ll hear everything / & miss every other word There is a place where they won’t hear you Cos they have so much to say They’ll see everything / But everything is blurred Everybody stand / everybody breathe Stare at the floor / everybody leave There is a place where they won't feel you But they'll touch you anyway They'll get real close & push you out the door There is a place where they don't want you But they need you anyway They'll chip at you / Until they hit the core Everybody stand, everybody breathe Stare at the floor, everybody leave Everybody stand, everybody breathe Stare at the floor, everybody leave Every body, Every body, Every body, Every body Every body, Every body Everybody leave Everybody leave Everybody leave

“More bombastic fun from this duo from Northampton, MA – both a full-length and an EP!”

— John MacLeod, Comic Rawk Top 21 Albums of 2021

Hiatus (2021) was recorded and mixed in Easthampton, Massachusetts by Grant Wicks at Uncanny Audio — mostly in 2019, with sporadic overdub and mixing sessions before/during the pandemic. We brought aboard bass powerhouse Marc Seedorf (Mark Mulcahy sideman, engineer, Dinosaur Jr. guitar tech, and a woodworker t’boot) to turn us into a trio. Whoa!

Hiatus covers a lot of territory, shifting from the mountain-crushing “Wolves” to the rusty coffee can filled with spoons that is “Hole In The Sea,” from the Bob Mouldiness of “Descent” to the Nirvanishness of “Everybody Leave,” from the wicked evil “Sad Satan” to the storm-battered coast of “Clear Them Decks.”
