Founded nearly twenty years ago in Saskatchewan, Canada, Hypnotic Dirge has had various different eras in its history - sometimes very active, other times quite dorment, but through it all the label has persisted and endured, leaving a small mark on the fringes of the Black and Doom Metal underground.

As we enter 2026, Hypnotic Dirge Records is once again driven with renewed purpose and motivation. 
Marking a bit of a rebirth of the label, 2026 is already shaping up to be a very active year!
